South Jersey Java Music Program
Check Back Here Often @ The South Jersey Java Blog for important information and announcements about upcoming performances.
Our music program consists of the following:
Open Mic - These events welcome performers from our neighborhoods to share their talents. Sometimes they are THEMED events. Recently we sponsored a "JAZZ Night". See Highlight footage here! Other events have been, "Comedy Night" - for local comedians, "Soap Box Night" - for free expression of political ideas and ideals, "Gospel Night" - where the faithful celebrate God, and "It's Our Turn - Poetry Slam" - truly free form Open Mic. As interest and audience grows, we will expand the themes to accommodate the tastes of our neighbors. These events generally start at 7:00pm.
First Friday Events - These events are TRIBUTE Revues of various Local Artists, singers, instrumentalists, and spoken word alike.
Spotlight Performance - These events featured top flight local talents. Our House Band, BLACK COFFEE - will be debuting in March. We will leave notices here when other acts are booked.

Hello, my names Mike i'm the bassist for my band heroes have fallen which is based out of voorhees. I was curious about your open mic nights and wondering if you only allow acoustic acts or bands play. Cause we have a full kit and powered amps etc. Get back to me whenever with any info you can provide. skateuponsabbath@Yahoo.com thanks for your time
Mike
